IN SUPPORT OF McDERMOTT HOUSE CANADA

A limited number of tickets will go on sale Friday, August 18th via eventbrite.ca at noon, EST. 

The Way We Feel, an ongoing multi-artist concert celebrating the music of Gordon Lightfoot will take the stage for a special 15th anniversary event on Friday Oct 6th, 2017 at the CBC Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, ON. All concert ticket proceeds will go to benefit McDermott House Canada, a registered charity dedicated to serving those who serve. McDermott House Canada was founded by tenor John McDermott. The evening is sponsored by Bank of Montreal. 

Artists scheduled to appear at the 15th anniversary Gala concert include Way We Feel co-founder and show producer Jory Nash, The Legendary Good Brothers, DALA, Lori Cullen, Julian Taylor, Aengus Finnan, Meredith Moon, Kevin Fox, Rick Fines, John McDermott & Oh Susanna. A stellar house band comprised of Jason Fowler, David Matheson, David Woodhead & Burke Carroll will back up the featured artists. The evening will be emceed by David Newland. 

In addition to the music the gala evening will feature the presentation of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society’s prestigious Gold Medal. The Gold Medal was created to provide an opportunity for the Society to recognize a particular achievement by one or more individuals in the general field of geography or a significant national or international event.

McDermott House Canada‎ and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre are thrilled to announce the completion of Phase I of the renovation, and that Phase II is set to begin in the fall. These renovations reflect the commitment MHC has made to Veterans and the community to ensure that the best possible end of life care is made available to them while at Sunnybrook. This partnership with Jory Nash & The Way We Feel will enable MHC to come closer to reaching the 3.6 million dollar goal and completing this project.

    A real down to earth type Canadian home grown concert. Only Jory Nash could pull this off and make it work to perfection. His natural skill of showing total relaxation while he's up there working with that level of top notch musicianship demonstrates that he has much more in his persona than being only a singer/songwriter.
